Supervisor Penny Gross Beats Back Challenge from Tom Davis Protégé
In Fairfax County (VA) we were honored to work for Supervisor Penny Gross in Mason District, helping her fend off an aggressive challenge from an Independent candidate who ran with the endorsement of the Republican Party and support from former Congressman Tom Davis (R). Gross won reelection with an impressive 57% after withstanding months of negative mailings distorting her record.
Justin Wilk Defeats Incumbent in Prince William County School Board Race
In Prince William County (VA) we had the pleasure of working for Democratic Party endorsed candidate Justin Wilk who took on 3-term School Board incumbent Betty Covington in the Potomac District. While the other Democratic candidates for county office lost in Potomac, Wilk was able to buck the trend and win with 54% of the vote.
Chris Lewis is Top Vote Getter in Alexandria School Board Race
In the City of Alexandria (VA) freshman incumbent Chris Lewis ran in a field of five candidates in District C, where the top three vote getters would be elected to the Board. He emerged as the top vote getter, out-performing two long-serving incumbents.
Dalia Palchik Defeats Incumbent in Fairfax County School Board Race
Another School Board victory came in the Providence District of Fairfax County (VA). Democratic Party endorsed candidate Dalia Palchik defeated incumbent Patricia Reed who was endorsed by the Republican Party.

This week’s Virginia victories come on the heels of our success in the June Democratic primary when we were able to help Delegate-Elect Mark Levine defeat four candidates to secure the nomination to fill the solidly Democratic seat in District 45.
SEIU Helps Win Critical Supreme Court Races in Pennsylvania
