Anil Mammen

Anil Mammen is President of Mammen Group. One of the Democratic Party’s leading authorities on direct mail strategy, Mammen has spent the past 19 years creating winning political mail for candidates, Party committees, initiative campaigns, labor unions and progressive causes.

Before forming Mammen Group, he developed successful direct mail programs for Senator Chris Dodd (CT), Congressman Steny Hoyer (MD-05), Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. (IL-02), Congressman John Olver (MA-01), and numerous unions and progressive organizations.

Prior to becoming a direct mail consultant in 1993, Mammen was Director of Direct Mail Programs at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). He served there for three years under Chairman Vic Fazio (CA-03). Prior to that, he worked on a number of campaigns at the local, state and federal levels.

Mammen was raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey and from Kenyon College in Ohio.
