Anil Mammen

One of the Democratic Party’s leading authorities on direct mail advertising, Anil Mammen has spent the past 28 years developing messaging and creating targeted communications for candidates, Party committees, initiative campaigns, labor unions and progressive causes. He’s created mail in five presidential campaigns (Clinton 1996 General, Gore 2000 General, Gephardt 2004 Primary, Kerry 2004 General, Sanders 2016 Primary), dozens of Congressional races, and hundreds of state and municipal campaigns. Prior to becoming a direct mail consultant in 1993, Mammen was Director of Direct Mail Programs at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Before that, he worked on a number of campaigns at the local, state and federal levels. Anil was raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, graduated from the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, and Kenyon College in Ohio.
